Description

From Revolution to Ramparts: The Irish in the American Revolution

In partnership with the Museum of Newport Irish History, Fort Adams Trust presents a special public lecture as part of the RI250 commemoration.

Featuring historian Christian McBurney, "From Revolution to Ramparts" explores the critical—and often overlooked—role of Irish and Irish-American individuals in the American Revolution, with a unique focus on Rhode Island and Fort Adams. The program connects Revolutionary-era history with the lived experiences of the laborers, soldiers, and craftsmen who helped shape both the nation and the Fort itself.
